Making A Queer Space at UAL is a small diorama placed under a chair made out of the welcome to UAL hand book with a cameo appearance by the village people. One thing that is important to note that queer voices matter and queer spaces are needed.
Queer spaces are disappearing left right and centre due to gentrification. Gays are meeting in another and more modern ways ways threw apps. LGBTI people are also viewing the bar space differently and can see problems in trade of and addiction problems that occur with drugs alcohol. Queer space also have to understand how we make them fully inclusive for all races and all members of the community.
At the same time we need to create space to support other and challenge the heteronormative ideology in the every day.
